And it starts all over
Got a faire on July 8th. I sold all but 5 of my flags and camoflage so I have to start sewing lots of those to get back to a desired 35 of all designs. So I have to replace the 70 I sold plus I'm adding a plain blue to the mix. On your mark, get set.........sew!!!!!!!!!!!! And get off the bloody computer, silly. Stop looking at cute pictures of your grandsons.Monday, June 26, 2006
Me and the Energizer Bunny!
I keep going and going and going...Dad and Phyllis arrived around 2:30pm. on Wednesday. We sat and talked until 6pm and then went to Denny's for dinner. After dinner we hugged and they went to there hotel. That was it.
We had a fun, exausting, financially successful time at Groovefest 2006. We sold 70, yes, 70! We are very happy. My body aches from top to bottom. Not sure why, it just does.
My 4th. Sunday lesson went well too. I was a little worried since we spent from 8am-11pm Friday and Saturday at the park and church starts at 11am on Sunday. But some how it got squeezed in and it turned out well. I did some preparation last week which helped a lot, but I always manage to add things at the last minute just to make me panic. I had a lot of participation this time unlike last month. Next month is stake conference so I don't have to prepare a lesson until August. Yeah!!!!! [correction: I HAVE a lesson next month, It's August I do not have one due to Stake conference. Oh well. Maybe if I start now I won't have as much stress.........nah. I LIVE for the stress.]
Last week Dwight had some really good days......Today was not one of them. He is back to being weak as a kitten. I came in with no energy this morning and had to pull it out of somewhere in order to take care of him.

Work, Work, Work
I'm keeping really busy. I'm sewing all the time and getting lots done and ready for Groovefest 2006 which is the first craft faire we will go to on June 23rd and 24th. It's a big blow out music festival in the park.Dwight continues to weaken and is not doing very well. He has no strength to even stand up on his own. He is now in a hospital bed in his room and is rarely getting into the living room where he used to sit in his chair. If he hangs on another month I will be very surprised.
I still work Tuesday mornings at the FHC, but I will be changing my Friday mornings to Thursday evenings starting next week. In the fall I will be teaching a FHC class on Thursdays. I'm excited and a little scared, but I'm sure I will grow into it.
Shakespeare festival starts on the 22nd. so ..... busy, busy, busy.

Bad Blogger, Bad!
Blogger is not being nice to me this week. It took 3 tries in the last two days to get that last post on. Plus it is taking forever to even open a page let alone do anything with it.Wednesday, June 07, 2006
New toy!
My new toy came today! It's a "Euro-Pro""select"........A new sewing machine!!!!!! Yeah!!!! My "White" has given its all for over 25 years. With this new venture I need a machine with less temperment and more POWER. "ARR ARR arrr". Haven't figured out the "automatic threading" part. But I can still stick thread threw a needle without help, just fine.Been working on my products for "Nonnie's Shoppe" I sell Nek Koolers and Kwik Koolers. Check out

Rich made the web site and I really like it. Still needs picture of nek kooler around the neck and a kwik kooler on elbow or ankle. R4 is working on making my product tags more snazzy with a pop'n logo.
Monday night Rich and I went to a Ukelele Ladies BBQ. We all brought our spouses and our ukeleles and had a nice evening eating, laughing and singing.
