A blog for a day
Hello fans. Let's see what boring tripe I can hand out today.
I did not go to Ukes on Monday. I had the dizzy yucks.
On Tuesday I did FHC and then Tuesday night returned for FHC Staff meeting. Wednesday was uneventful. Did some grocery shopping since my disability check came in. Also went to Jenn's to help her some more with her lap quilts she is doing for Christmas presents.
Today did my last day at Shakespeare Festival.. Also stayed to see The Foreigner.
It's now 6p. and I think I will start planning on MY Christmas presents I'm making for everyone. Nothing extreme I warn you, but think all will like. At least pretend, won't you?
Tomorrow is FHC again and then Doctor's appt. at 3p. He gets to tell me what a bad girl I've been this year by not getting my mammogram and a papsmear. (yes Cassie, I look forward to both like a bad case of food poisoning) Also for running out and not finding out how to get more Wellbutrin. Life continues on and on and on.....
Rich's job ended on Wednesday. He has a few prospects but hasn't had an interview in over a month. Being a "Desperate Housewife" is taking on a whole new meaning to me about now.

Difficult Day
Sunday...... The day started out okay.
7:10a. wake, shower, dress, breakfast and out the door by 8:15a.
8:30a. choir practice.
9:15a. church has started, sacrament being passed and I feel a little shaky.
9:25a it's time to get up and sing with the choir. Just as I stand in my place with the men, my legs give out, I feel sick to my stomach and I slide down into my seat. I get enough strength to sing during the last verse, but the Bishop (who was next to me in the choir) has to help me down the stairs and then I walk out to the foyer and sit in a chair for the rest of Sacrament meeting. Sister Halladay found me some Nilla waffers and sister Hyer gave me some chocolate.
I just occupied a seat during Sunday School and by Relief Society I was doing pretty good. The Relief Society President, Sister Ward, went home during Sunday School and brought back a stool for me to sit on as I gave my lesson.
The actual lesson went very well. I got lots of response from the sisters and it felt very well received. I went in feeling prepared and that makes me not worried about the outcome. (I studied most of Saturday)
Felt good enough to return for choir practice at 4:15p.
I'm pretty sure the shakyness is because my Wellbutrin never arrived after I ordered it and so I've been off it for a while. My doctor will bawl me out for that one on Thursday you can be sure.
It's Ukelele Ladies Day. I'm not sure if I feel up to going. Time will tell.

Wide awake?
It's 1:50am and I can't sleep. Went to bed at 11:00p and woke at 12:30p. Didn't even take a nap today. Don't know why I can't sleep like I usually do.
My version of counting sheep never gets results: 1 sheep, 2 sheep, 3 sheep, oh, there's a cow! Now a pig. Is that a motorcycle?.................. See what I mean?
This is 4th Sunday Relief Society Lesson week. Instead of preparing my lesson, I'm trying to see if I can get a high score on "candy crisis" a weird version of Tetris.
It's an extremely hard topic this month: Pornography... can't I just say "Don't do it!" and sit down?
What a mess life is in right now. I'm not a very effective person right now. Sure the laundry is done and there are enough clean dishes to have dinner on.........but that's about it.

All's Well that.....
Tuesday night Rich came home from work in a lot of pain so I made sure he was fed and drugged and then I went to see Pippin with Loa. We had a great time and really enjoyed the play. Very odd in a Bob Fossey kind of way. (apprapo since he choriographed it the first time it was on Broadway.)
Today was my Shakespeare afternoon as well, and also my turn to stay late. It was All's Well That Ends Well. Very well done. I would never get to see so many plays in a year if it wasn't for the opportunity to volunteer. I am definitely in my element.

Not much stuff 2
I tried to publish this yesterday and it didn't take, so here goes today.
Monday I went to Ukelele Ladies. Dad woke with kidney stone pain so he stayed home. Which meant I got to drive myself to Ukes.
Not much else, because we laid around all day and he recovered from the stones and I recovered from the weekend.
Today I went to FHC and came home and did dishes, clothes and fed myself lunch and had that done by 12:45. It is 3:20 and nothing has been done since 12:45! I hate being such a lazy bum. But don't know how to fix it.
My friend Loa and Rich and I are going to see "Pippin" tonight. I'll let you know if I like it or not. Don't know anything about it except it's a 70's musical.
Gotta go un-lazy myself from this 'puter.

Worked my leg off
Friday was set up day for the Family History Faire. As people brought in items to show at the faire I was one of 3 people that put them on tables depending on what category they fit in (pictures, family newsletters, heirlooms, journals, quilts etc.) I brought a lot of my own stuff to show as well. My mom and dad's missionary pictures. Mom's Danish bible, Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price and her Relief Society song book. Also Ruth's wooden cake platter and some Danish porcelain.
Rich brought me lunch so that I could be there all day to help. (8:30a-5:30p). Then on Saturday I greeted people as they came into the cultural hall and answered questions. I continued set up from 8a-10a, then the faire was from 10a-2p. They fed us sandwiches around noon. From 2p-3p was clean up. I came home tried to nap and then from 7p-9p was a Family History Fireside. By the time I got home for good at 9:30p I looked like Quasiemoto, or The Mummy. Not sure which. The right leg just dragged behind me. Very sad.
I woke still dragging my leg, but no headache, so I was able to attend my church meetings which made me feel very good. And I made it to choir. We sing a very difficult song next Sunday. "Make Us One". It will be beautiful. Hard, but beautiful.
Please note: A quick "Kilroy was here" from my avid readers would help me keep writing this dribble.

Not much stuff
Sunday: Headache was still bad and so did not go to church or choir.
Monday: Pretty good day. Went to Ukelele Ladies and had fun for the hour. Rest of day did minor house work.
Tuesday: Family History Center 9a-12p. Kept busy. We are preparing for a Family History Faire on this Saturday from 10a-2p and so there is still lots to do. Called Dad and Phyllis and wished them Happy Anniversary (#2).
Took a 3 hour nap cuz of "Nasty". Went to Enrichment night. Learned how to crochet a "shell" stitch on an afgan. Woooohoooooo. I learned something new!
Wednesday: It was too cold to walk, so Jenn and I did "Prenatal Yoga". (She's 7 months along and I'm............. a good sport) Tomorrow we are going to learn Breathing exercises.
That's about it. My life in my Nut Shell.

Nasty's back
Nasty's back with a vengeance. This head-ache business is for the birds. I can barely keep my head up.
Rich and I did our grocery shopping this morning. I think we are having salmon tonight for dinner.
Nothing else to report.

The Foreigner
Went to see The Foreigner last night at the Shakespeare Festival. It was extremely funny. I almost didn't get to see it. I arrived at about 6:50 (doors open at 7p. and the show starts at 7:30) I picked up my Dollar Store special purse and the front zipper broke and the flap fell open. I decided since I had my ticket in my pants pocket that I would go without the purse. Threw it back in the car, locked and shut the door only to realize my keys were in the purse! (also my cell phone) I used up $1.50 in quarters and I called Rich knowing there wasn't much he could do since we only had the one working vehicle. Then I called my friend Jenn and had her drop everything she was doing and pick up my husbands keys and bring them to me. All this drama and I was still able to be in my seat by 7:20. After the play, around 10:30p, I tried to go somewhere to get a slushie or cheesesticks or other munchie-crunchie not remembering that Cedar City rolls up its sidewalks by 10p on a week day.
I did have a nice evening out though.
I work at the Shakespeare Festival today at 2p. so Rich will pick me up around 12:30 during his lunch hour and I will take him back to work and then have the car for the afternoon then pick him up at 5p.
I walked with Jenn this morning. It was extremely cold. Now it's time to nap for another hour so that I can use this bum leg later.
Love you George. Don't have a corinary. Go back and read your comments on the post about your b-day. All is well in Zion.
Rich is working for Iron Co. Engineers right now and they are pleased with his work... Hope he gets the interview for Iron Co. Assessors office. Cross your fingers...
