Duck Creek

The first of two days at Duck Creek, Utah was pretty much a failure. We went up on Thursday night and set up the tent. That went okey, but when we were done it was 8:45 and the little town closed up at 6p! We couldn't believe it. Even the gas station was closed and you could still get gas using a credit card but that was it. We finally were pointed to a Resort up the road and got a great meal. We went to camp at Sister Pettie's and...let's just say Rich doesn't camp any more. We couldn't get comfortable and we even had a comedy of errors routine going on when we tried to get out of the back seats and the child locks on the back doors wouldn't disengage and we had all our boxes loaded in the front seats. Rich finally got the key in the ignition and I rolled a window down and stuck my hand out and opened the door from the outside. We drove home, slept in our own bed and then awoke at 7:30am and drove back up the mountain, set up the Nek Koolers and sold 7 all day. Going home we got a flat. A guy stopped and helped Rich change the tire. Absolutely no cell service of any kind in the canyon and up on the mountain. The guy wouldn't take a $20. so Rich shoved $5.00 in his hand when they shook goodbye. And then he followed us all the way down to make sure we were okey. We went back on Saturday morning and it was a good day. We sold 72 nek koolers. The drive to Duck Creek is only 30 miles, but it is straight up. But sleeping in your own bed.....priceless.
I ended up getting a substitute for Sunday's lesson. My voice is still cutting in and out and standing for more than 5 minutes, let alone doing anything during that 5 minutes is a huge chore.
Hershey the cat got out saturday night when we came back into town. Never saw her all of Sunday. At 1am this morning I heard her outside. Went downstairs, let her in and turned around and went back up the stairs and half way up my strength just left. I crawled to the top and started to feel the effects of shock. Big drops of sweat, shortness of breath, weakness and nausia. I laid on the floor for about 10 minutes 'till I could get up and fall back into bed. That can't be normal. I'm so tired of this. One person put it this way: At least you don't have pain.......... Well yeah, but this fatigue is an ADDITION to Alvin and Quincey......Duhhhhhhh,
