I've been gone. Now I'm back.
Hi world.Celebrated R4's B-day.
One of his presents was a 400 disc DVD changer. We built and installed a small shelf for the wall to hold his projector since we did some furniture rearranging and then installed about 200 of his 300 plus DVD collection that was going in the changer.
I spent lots of time with Richie and we played and read a lot.
Cassie and I had lots of fun designing and creating a Halloween quilt. She's having to do all the sewing but I think we had lots of fun picking out and cutting the material. Also keeping Richie and the cats off the squares as we were designing on the floor and bed kept us busy.
Speaking of cats. R4 had a run-in with Nova the Cat. He went to pick her up and move her and she had a problem with that and grabbed on to R4's hand with her claws and hung on for dear life. Richard has a wicked looking set of scratches down his right hand and another one on his left leg and a set of nasty puncture holes on his right pinky finger. The last is the most painful because evidently all of Nova's weight was suspended from it at one time. The finger swelled up and it looks nasty. He's doing much better, but Cassie got some unexpected nursing experience this week.
A special thank you to Rich for being all alone while I got to be there and play. I love you so much. I really needed this time with the kids. I glad I'm home though. I'm sure the kids are too to some degree.
Going to my first Ukelele Ladies Performance tonight. Tell you how it went tomorrow.
