"Ain't Life a Kick in the Head"

Just talked to Grandma Ruth. She told me she knew about Richard's car being stolen. I told her about the bill from the city, and that Richard was upset. She said that someone threw a brick into the window of her Jaguar while it was parked in her car port! It cost $600. to get it fixed. Then her cell phone that had been in the car was stolen and before she could get it turned off the thief had rung up a huge bill that she now has to pay. She wanted Richard to know she's upset too.
Life is a Big Bad Bear sometimes.

Happy news: Rich was called by one of the job services he has been using and they had sent his resume to a company and they looked at it and didn't even need to interview him. He starts Monday. It is part time in the morning and he has his current job in the afternoon so he is pretty set for a while.

Rich and I are going to a Pot Luck dinner tonight. It is for the Ukelele Ladies. (and their spouses) We will eat and then PLAY. It's kind of a Kick off for practicing again since we take the whole summer off. I sure hope it stays on Monday's cuz it's the only day I have open. I made carb-smart brownies.

Other than that: Same old same old.
